pain
Dear All………
Today’s message from Babaji is about “PAIN”
The word pain stands for
P - Pushes
A - All
I - Into
N - Never ending abyss (abyss = A deep bottomless space)
A few pointers about Pain…………………….
There is no gain without pain.
Every ‘pain’ helps you to grow and understand.
People following the spiritual path will sit down and try to analyse.
People not on this path blame others.
When you are in deep non-physical pain, just sit in silence and let your emotions out.
You can cry out loud.
There is no harm in crying.
Small children just cry out loud.
They are clearing their ‘pain’ with this simple technique.
They use it for both physical and non-physical pain.
They do not know how to blame others.
If you can’t cry, if you are shy, listen to music, read / listen to jokes.
Divert yourself from the source that is bothering you.
Once your emotions calm down, take the guidance of your guru & sat guru. Each one
of us faces a different kind of ‘non-physical pain’ every day.
Ex: Your boss scolding, your friends ill-treating you, a sick kid at home, death of a beloved one etc.
Death of a beloved one is more painful than your friends ill-treating you.
So you should know which scenario is more painful.
You should know how to react to that pain.
Some situations are so painful that you need a great counselling from your guru.
Spirituality or realization of higher energies will help you analyse why you have been
given this pain.
Your trust in the Higher Energies, will also give you strength to endure this pain.
When someone is in pain, try to help him to come out of it.
See which techniques will suit him best.
The person is already suffering, and when you use a wrong technique, you may aggravate
his pain all the more. Even Buddha had his moments of pain. But he felt pain when he
was on the path of realization only.
Once he became the Buddha, he knew no pain.
As Babaji said earlier ‘death is inevitable’ it is high time everyone got ready for all
painful things.
There is nothing painful than seeing someone vacating their body.
Now walking the path of spirituality, please do understand when someone is in pain.
Don’t ignore them.
Put yourselves in their shoes.
Then you can visualize their pain. When you wear the shoe, you know where
it pinches you. Correct?Likewise be compassionate to your near and dear and understand their pain.
Even though their pain be number ‘one’ on the scale of ten…. still it is ‘pain’.
Well, when others bring you ‘pain’, try to analyse why are they doing so.
If you can, be away from the source.
If you cannot, then sit in the midst of pain and remain calm.
When you approach a twister, there is lot of confusion, calamity and uproar.
But when you reach the centre or eye of the twister / tornado… there is tranquillity.
So, when in pain and you can’t escape it, and then let it surround you.
Visualize that you have reached its centre.
You will find calm.
In this calm, analyse the cause for your pain while chanting the Higher Energies.
Don’t blame others for what you undergo.
That pain was specially designed by you and for you.
Your craving for wide variety of experiences has landed you in all sorts of pain.
When you invite pain, you will have to entertain it… won’t you?
This was one reason why sages prefer forests to households for meditation.
Households are meant to be the creators of some sort of pain on a daily basis.
Now Babaji does not want you to runaway to forest for seeking calm and avoid pain.
As grishasta…. you should know that pain lurks (to hide) round the corners of your life and tries to attack you.
So be prepared by always carrying your gurus in your heart.
Every wakeful moment, thank them profusely for saving you from impending disasters.
Because of their blessings, the degree of pain has been reduced. Respect the ‘prana’
that flows through you…………………
Om sai ram Babaji…
